Status of Women

Our work covers the international service programmes, fellowship, scholarships and awards including our own Founder's Scholarship which provides funding to assist a young woman to attend university or tertiary institute in the Canterbury area.

Our tasks include local legislative awareness and advocacy, and conveying these issues to our membership. We inform members about accomplishments by local women's organizations and provide self development and training to enhance members legal, political, economic, educational, health or professional status.
