Welcome to the Zonta Club of Christchurch South

We are a social service group of business and professional women committed to raising the status of women through through service, fundraising and advocacy.

• We meet for dinner on the first Tuesday of the month excluding January, have a speaker and hold a general meeting of members.
• Our current projects include fund raising for endometriosis research.
• We run the annual 'Zonta Sports Awards' dinner honouring secondary school sporting champions.
• Our service projects include sewing breast cushions for The Cancer Society.
• We are part of a large international organization which operates in 68 countries and has 33,000 members.
• We welcome new members from business and professions in the Christchurch area. As a member, you will enjoy the fellowship of like-minded intelligent women and have the opportunity to really make your efforts count in supporting women's needs in society. A local area forum is held each year and District Conference every second year to facilitate further networking with members from other Zonta clubs.
